Who we are

Elsewhere Luxe ("we", "us") is a hotel and flight booking platform operated by Ross C. L. Stalley, trading as Elsewhere Luxe, of 2a Connaught Avenue, London, E4 7AA, United Kingdom. For questions about this policy or your personal data, contact hello@elsewhereluxe.com.

What data we handle and why

• Search and browsing: When you search destinations, dates or prices, we process your search terms (destination, dates, number of guests) to display live availability and pricing. This is necessary to provide the service you request.
• Bookings: When you make a booking, the guest details you enter are transmitted to our booking technology partner, Nuitée, which acts as the merchant of record for bookings made through this site. Nuitée processes your booking and payment as an independent controller under its own privacy policy: https://www.nuitee.com/privacy-policy. We do not see or store your payment card details.
• Currency preference: Your selected display currency is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so the site remembers your choice. This never leaves your device.
• Cookies and analytics: See our Cookie Notice. We use only essential cookies plus analytics tools where you have consented.

Legal basis

We process personal data under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (to perform the booking service you request) and 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests in operating and improving a safe, functional platform). Analytics and marketing cookies are processed only with your consent under Article 6(1)(a) and PECR.

Data sharing

We share personal data only with: (1) Nuitée, as necessary to complete your booking and payment; (2) our hosting and infrastructure providers, under contract; and (3) authorities where legally required. We never sell your personal data.

Retention

Search data is retained no longer than 30 days. Booking-related correspondence is retained for 6 years for accounting and dispute purposes. You can ask us to delete data sooner where we have no legal obligation to keep it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any right, contact hello@elsewhereluxe.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

If you reside in the EU or EEA, you have the same rights under the EU GDPR — including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability — which you may exercise by contacting hello@elsewhereluxe.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
