PURO Kraków Stare Miasto

Exceptional hotel. The best in our Euro trip. Right in front of Krakow glowny train and bus station. Tram is also right across the street. Multiple food , shopping and Apotheke nearby. The staff went out of the way to help me with information. They are just brilliant. Rooms are small but enough. Customer facilities including coffee and sauna are just wonderful.

Tip: If visiting Auschwitz (guided tour roughly 4 hours), book bus round trip well in advance. They are difficult to get. Train journey is not direct. Otherwise need to take cab, which is very expensive.

Slightly small room

Excellent choice of hotel for a short stay.

The room decor was pleasant, the bathroom was clean, the technology (lights, switches, kettle, safe, TV, etc) was convenient and worked well. The location is only a 10 - 15 minute walk to the old town and is extremely convenient to the station.

I felt the room was a little cramped with room for only 1 chair squeezed into a corner. Not so bad for single occupancy but maybe not so good for 2 persons. It might be helpful to first time visitors to Kraków to give some advice as to how to reach the hotel from the station platform - whilst the hotel is indeed extremely conveniently located and easy to find that's only the case once you know the route through the mall!
