Very advantageous stay in traditional riad
Our 7 night stay in the traditional riad was delightful. One of the best things about this riad is its positioning, we were taken aback to find out that every major visiting objective was located at a maximum 15 minute walking distance. Despite the central position, it was surprisingly quiet and calm. Moreover, the host, Kamal, was incredibly helpful and attentive. The traditional breakfast is served each morning from 8am-10am by a lovely lady. The riad is clean and daily cleaning is definitely checked. From my point of view the price is absolutely fair considering the advantages and also comparing to the nearby luxurious riads.
One of the only negative things, though subjective, is that our room was located on the common terrace, which on one hand was a positive aspect, but on the other it can be a little unpleasant in terms of privacy. The room with its windows open has no curtains and passing guests that use the terrace see directly in your room. Also, the stay offered a wide range of unfortunately overpriced excursions, and also private transport from the airport, that we actually took on our arrival and for which we paid 20€.
